From the studio archive notes: “Ryu Sakura was the first piece where embroidery sat on the outside in plain view. A dragon on the back pockets instead of a logo or a price tag. Two years later they still look sharp.”

Meaning behind the design:

I'm very intrigued by the eastern culture and their habits. Their way of living is very distinctive and it motivates me a lot. This design is also a way of thanking the author of a book called “ikigai”. Reading that book made me start this brand, so this is a very special for me. The dragon on the back pockets represent good luck, strength and health. If you wear this garment all these elements will be by your side.
